[Feature] Search by Resolution, Aspect Ratio, and Orientation

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The Feature

Add the ability to search and filter based on asset resolution, aspect ratio, or orientation (e.g., 1920x1080, 21:9, orientation=horizonal, etc).

Use Case

As an ultrawide monitor user, being able to search for horizontal 21:9 images would be super useful for finding desktop wallpapers.

Proposed Solution(s):

• Enable the use of resolutions, aspect ratio, or orientation in the Search Bar (e.g., 1920x1080, 21:9, orientation=horizonal, etc).
• Add "Resolution or Aspect Ratio" as a "Search Type" in the Search Options menu.
• Include aspect ratio and orientation in the media details sidebar.
• Bonus: allow use of operators in the search bar (e.g.,>=1920x1080).
• Bonus: allow filtering by just width or height (e.g., width=2560).

My original FR was closed as duplicate. Although I think that holding onto such large feature requests is detrimental to the cause. Even so, it makes sense to implement them sequentially, and tracking them will only make things unnecessarily chaotic.

My suggestion was: Add Landscape / Portrait Orientation Filter in Search

Reason:

Many workflows depend on orientation, such as:

• Creating albums for wallpapers (e.g., landscape-only images for desktops or portrait-only images for phones).
• Designing print layouts, storyboards, or social media posts.
• Browsing event photos where portrait shots (e.g., people) or landscape shots (e.g., scenery) are preferred.
• Quickly narrowing down similar types of images without manually checking each item.

Searching by resolution would also be helpful for me as I would like to find / videos that have a resolution of 4032x2268 as these are most likely the raw video files recorded for the Google Pixel video boost feature that I may have inadvertently uploaded to immich.

I also have a use case to search by pixel size or at least aspect ratio as this would make it easy do find my designed photo book pages which are all 1:1 aspect ratio and a specific resolution.

+1 search by resolution and image size would be very useful. I'd like to weed out a bunch of thumbnails and whatsapp copies that are mixed into the main library.

Not entirely this issue, but close and I think this partially would solve my issue, but I'd love to see a search for 360/panoramic. Probably most generic would be the option for searching for ProjectionType (granted that's not as user friendly).
